How affiliate links work

Some links on GearRanked are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer may pay us a small commission. The price you pay stays the same.

When you click an affiliate link, the retailer may set a cookie to record that the visit came from us.

Why we use them

Commissions help cover the time spent researching specs and keeping the database updated. They keep the site free to use.

Editorial independence

Affiliate relationships do not decide which products appear or how they rank. Models are included based on relevance and data quality, not commission potential.

If a product does not meet our standards, it will not be recommended regardless of affiliate terms.
