The problem? Getting those specs is annoying. Manufacturer pages bury them. Review sites copy each other. Half the "comparison" articles are just affiliate lists with no actual data.

So I started keeping structured sheets with verified specs. GearRanked is that habit turned into a website.

My background is in finance and analytics. I've spent years in roles where data quality and clear decisions matter. Same approach here.
